Sustainable High Performance

You're successful.
You're capable. So why are you exhausted?

You don't necessarily need more energy. You need fewer leaks.

The free Energy Leaks Assessment shows where your capacity is going across four areas — Sleep, Choices, Boundaries and Identity — and gives you one action to start closing the biggest leak.

The four leaks

Exhaustion is rarely one big problem. It's four quiet ones.

Most high performers try to fix everything at once. The framework does the opposite: it finds the leak costing you the most, and starts there.

Sleep

You sleep, but you don't recover. Mornings start already behind.

Choices

Small decisions cost too much. By evening there is nothing left to decide with.

Boundaries

Your calendar belongs to other people. Your best work happens in the gaps.

Identity

You perform the role well. You're less sure it's still yours.

How it works

Identify. Prioritise. Act.

01

Identify

20 questions across Sleep, Choices, Boundaries and Identity. About three minutes, no payment, no account.

02

Prioritise

You get a score for each area and a clear primary and secondary leak — the two places your capacity is actually going.

03

Act

One action. Not a programme, not a reading list. The single change that closes the biggest leak first.

Ronnie Coupland, creator of the Energy Leaks Framework

Why this exists

Built from experience. Informed by evidence.

I'm Ronnie Coupland. I spent years performing at a high level in senior leadership while quietly running on empty — then rebuilt my capacity while training as an endurance athlete.

The boardroom and the road became two laboratories for the same question: what makes performance sustainable? The Energy Leaks Framework is the answer I kept arriving at — one framework, four leaks, three pillars, one action.

The framework is evidence-informed and drawn from lived practice. The assessment is a structured self-reflection tool — it is not a clinical or diagnostic instrument.

Early feedback

This gave me real clarity and a deeper connection with myself — practical insight I could actually apply, not just motivation for a moment.
A genuine mindset shift. It helped me push through mental barriers I didn't even realize were holding me back.

Early feedback from readers and people who have taken the assessment. Shared with permission, names withheld. These are comments, not measured client outcomes.

Before you start

This is for some people. It isn't for everyone.

Who this is for

  • You are performing well and privately running on empty.
  • You lead people, carry targets, or train seriously — often all three.
  • You have tried more discipline and more optimisation, and neither held.
  • You want one honest place to start, not a twelve-part programme.

Who this is not for

  • You are looking for a clinical or diagnostic assessment — this is not one.
  • You want a quick motivational lift rather than a change you have to hold.
  • You are in crisis or need medical or psychological care — please seek that first.
  • You would rather collect frameworks than act on one action for 14 days.

One action

Find your biggest energy leak. Then close it.

Three minutes now saves the months you'd otherwise spend guessing.
